Style Inherited prides itself in being inherently honest. I created this blog to share my real life with real readers. Below are some things you can expect from my blog that make Style Inherited a little different…
If I’m posting in workout clothes, about a new fitness routine, or anything fitness related, then you can expect that I’ve just done a workout before shooting the photos or am heading to do a workout. Why? Because that’s real life. I workout a lot and guess what, I sweat a lot too. It isn’t as pretty as a fresh face and a blow-out, but it’s real.
My hair is naturally curly so I have no desire or motivation to spend twenty-minutes to get those perfect blog curls that we’re all envious of. I do like to straighten my hair, but as you’ll soon notice, my prefered hairdo is a topknot or pony-tail.
I struggle with moderate to severe acne. 99% of the time my posts will be with makeup on. I will link all my posts wearing makeup to my “Makeup Guide,” as a reminder to myself and to my readers that my glowing complexion (still with its many imperfections) takes lots of work. If I’m not wearing makeup in a post I will still probably have mascara on because my blonde/white eyelashes are nearly invisible!

Hi, I’m Helen! I value family time, honest opinions, and quality over quantity. I hope you spend some time checking out my blog to see what I’m up to! Maybe you’ll leave with a new favorite recipe, wanting to shake up your beauty routine, or even be willing to push yourself out of your comfort zone. Please leave any feedback and/or questions!

About the blog…
The name “Style Inherited” came from realizing that many of my passions were inspired by my parents. My father is the most amazing chef, naturally I believe my love for cooking has grown from his love of cooking. My love of fashion and interior design come from my mom whose closet I constantly raid (she always seems to be ahead of trends!)
